I'm a sucker for a good book, so I happily took their advice. I read everything I could. I collected the odd and the hard-to-find, the common and the popular, and everything in between. This is a really good idea. Every decade or so I toss a load of books too. I'm becoming addicted to Kindle so that should keep the size of future piles down. Except...not everything comes on Kindle! I've got a slew of history books I'd like to wander through that are only in paper. Oh, well. Maybe I'll find places for a few.

[I know I'll be jumping in to it one of these days.] But I have a lot of books yet to read [even while I'm moving others out] and most of them are history, too. I like to linger over the maps and the pictures and use the cross references to find additional information. All reading in short bursts of time, mind you! Easier with a paper book than an electronic one. LOL
