Palladium Women's Bellingham Mid Calf Boot
Boots are my weakness as the days grow shorter, and the wind kicks up and the rain comes down sideways. I have a variety of boots and I wear them all! The boot pictured above is my newest addition -- the Bellingham from Palladium. [Purchased from Endless.com at half the regular price.] I love these boots -- I can wear thick socks inside and they're not tight but fit perfectly. With any pair of my favorite super comfy thick sweater-knit socks, I've had toasty feet in our recent cold temperatures. Boots are hands down my favorite fall fashion addition [or should that be addiction? LOL] Boots are my must have!
But that's not all -- I also love hats, caps, beanies, and berets and soon will be clamping one on every time I go out. Other fun accessories -- new soft leather gloves, extra long crocheted scarves and a big old leather bag. Of course, out here what would I do without fleece, flannel, and sherpa? Vests are another must-have and ... I could go on! I love all the fall clothes and accessories and footwear and the variety of jackets -- and more!
What is your favorite item or type of fall fashion you can't live without? Are you addicted to an old favorite or try the absolute latest every year? Do you have a snuggly old wool sweater you love and only wear around the house but wouldn't dare wear even to the grocery store? Or are you partial to GoreTex and Thinsulate? Would you make a statement with an old camo T-shirt and leather skirt, or is your unofficial Autumn uniform soft pintucked tunics in heathered wool paired with the latest leggings? Maybe you live in a place that doesn't experience extreme cold and your bow to the changing seasons is a light shawl in the evenings and early morning?
Let's have some fun here and see how different we all are. I'm looking forward to your fall fashion comments below. Don't be shy. [I told you about my passion for boots and thick socks! LOL] What are you enjoying wearing as summer fades completely and fall's firm grip pulls us closer toward winter?
Thanks for sharing!

We're still in summer clothes here. Fall still has not really set in. But when it does, I'll be in boots too because I love them. And fleece sweaters.
I got a nice sweater-jacket which keeps me warm...I love the changing colors of the leaves, before they begin to fall.
Isn't this a wonderful time of year!??
`x~William.
Fleece, fleece and more fleece!
:)
I love old jeans (preferably with the knees torn) and soft, warm chamois shirts. And hikers! :D I live in Arkansas and it doesn't get cold enough here for my taste. I want to move north. I have my eyes on Wyoming and Montana. :)
I love fleece but honestly, I think I hate fall because winter is around the corner. I am so cold natured that I hate to wear all the layers. What a bummer. I love summer and heat. :)
Hey, not about boots, but how do I leave a comment about Walt?
Sureto be something I've overlooked, but help appreciated.
I've just posted on child abuse and its'acceptance by French high society...not a nice subject but it needs talking about.
Loree!! Thanks for your comment! I say keep the autumn at bay and proudly wear your summer clothes as long as you can. It was in the mid-60s today and perfect for that odd combo of summer clothes and a light jacket in the morning. But boots and fleece are calling me! We have rain coming in a few days...:(
William! Your sweater-jacket sounds perfect for the cool mornings and evenings of early fall -- and under a rain jacket for later in the season. I love the colors now, too. It is a wonderful time of the year! Thanks for dropping by today! :D
Flea!! Maybe your nick should be Fleecepirates? LOL Thanks for your comments and stay warm!! :D
LME!! You sound perfectly comfortable in your old jeans & boots! I love chamois shirts!! Talk about soft!! I think you'd love Wyoming and Montana in the winter -- is gorgeous! But I think you'd need to patch your jeans, as exposed skin has been known to freeze in those Rocky Mountain blizzards! The last time I drove through Montana we had a lovely wind with blowing snow at Bozeman. It was MAY!!!! :D
Ace!! Thanks for stopping by! Fleece is good. Being cold is NOT. But, it's sadly true you can never be truly warm in the fall and winter without layers and feeling kind of bulky all the time. You might have to consider being a snowbird and slipping down to Florida for the coldest months. Sounds like fun, huh? :D
Fly!! Thanks for visiting today -- I responded to your query at French Leave. But I'll mention it here, too. At the bottom of the whole post in the Label section, you'll find a tiny link to comment. I hope it shows up for you. I think Blogger has been acting up lately and not all features show on every post every time a person visits. Bummer!
You are absolutely right about the child abuse topic. You've written an excellent post & I encourage all to visit and read. Just keep us posted on the whole affair and good luck with the Whitman post! :D
