Welcome to the Sunflower Ranch blog. It's going to be fun sharing with you -- right now, I'm not too sure how everything works. So please be patient while I get the hang of things.I started this blog in June of 2008, got too busy to do anything for months, and now that spring is just around the corner and life is blooming again, decided to get back to it. Since then, I've been through a lot of life's major hassles -- caregiving and death of a parent and the aftermath, a couple of minor but annoying surgeries, moving into a new house, the care and sale of the old place -- etc. You get the picture -- life intervened, I guess you'd say.
So at the Sunflower Ranch blog you're likely to find anything -- from a note about gardening in glacial till so rocky and stubborn even the weeds resent it, to my new favorite old movie on Turner Classic Movies, to an account of what I've just listed for sale at my online auction store, Sunflower Ranch.
